2009 Carmel Road Chardonnay, California $18
This winery has always produced a terrific wine that stays true to its flavor profile year after year. Starting with aromas of citrus zest and yellow apple notes. The flavors were out of this world, layers of tropical fruit especially melon followed by rich ripe apple notes. These than lead into a hint of butter and oak and a touch of mineral notes. This wine has a touch of everything for everyone but in just the right amount, a great bottle of wine that is always a crowd pleaser.
