2007 MacMurray Ranch Sonoma Pinot Noir, California $28
Another terrific wine from one of the oldest wineries in California, delivering style and depth in each sip. Aromas of black cherries and cola fill the glass and develop into notes of white pepper. The flavors were out of this world, layers of wild strawberries, cola, soy, and leather fill the taste buds, all of which lead into notes of soft and creamy Pinot Noir. The finish lingers lightly with the cherry notes and subtle oak undertones. This wine delivers on all levels and is worth every cent, loads of flavors making it perfect with pork or veal dishes.
