If you are looking for one of those great Chardonnays that is not over oaked, than this is your new best friend. This wine does not see any oak, is sustainably grown, and has a screw cap. This is the essence of the Chardonnay grape, aromas of fresh pears and yellow apples give way to layers of stone fruits and bradford pears with subtle notes of spice. The finish lets loose terrific notes of tropical fruit especially banana and melon with the layers of apples resurfacing. A perfectly made wine without the over used bandage of oak that is sometimes used to mask flaws in chardonnay. Would work perfectly with chicken salad or seafood dishes.
