It is nice to find a great pinot with a catchy label and name that is easy to remember. I tasted this wine last year at a competition I was judging and it showed extremely well, and am glad to see that it is in the state finally. Starting with aromas of cola and fresh wild strawberries and subtle hints earthiness, all of which transfer into the flavor profile seamlessly. Additional notes of cola, ripe cherries, bright red fruit, and leather explode in the mouth with a soft and velvety finish. There are soft notes of smoke and cranberries that linger in the month and dissipate slowly allowing for a refreshing tasting experience and a terrific food wine. A terrific accompaniment for pork lion or mesquite grilled chicken.
