2008 Greg Norman Chardonnay, California $15
I have found this winery to make consistently great wines from their California and Australia properties year after year, and this Chardonnay lives up to the standard. A great nose full of white fruit with highlights of pear and white peach which continue into a great mouth feel of fruit with a light touch of oak. Additional layers of tropical fruit notes and a slight butteriness fill out the tasting experience and the fresh pear notes resurface on the finish. A terrific chardonnay for sipping on its own or with grilled chicken and fruit salad.
