With Valentine's Day right around the corner a little red after dinner drink may be the perfect way to finish off that romantic dinner. A tradition with Sambuca is to put three coffee beans in the glass this is to represent health, wealth, and happiness. This particular Sambuca was smooth and lighter than some of the other we have tried, nice to have one that is not overpowering, but enjoyable. Terrific aromas of licorice filled the glass and flowed perfectly into a terrific flavor profile. A warm subtle sweetness and light cherry notes balanced the anise flavors that lingered perfectly on the tongue. This would make for a great pairing with tiramisu or ice cream with pralines.
