2007 Kendall-Jackson Syrah, California $14
This grape we have been enjoying more and more lately, It is a terrific summer red with the structure and body not to overpower many of our grilled menus. Aromas of blackberries and cola start this wine in the right direction, and evolve into the taste profile. Additionally notes of jam and white pepper take over with a subtle tannin structure to make a delightful red. The price point is the best part of this wine, under $15 and delivering all the classic Syrah flavors you cannot go wrong.
