Sam Adams Cream Stout, 5% Alcohol, Massachusetts $7 6 pack
This beer pours a nice dark chocolate color with a delicate lace head. The aromas of dark coffee and roasted malt fill the glass, and lead into a full bodied stout. Flavors were outstanding in each sip, layers of creamy chocolate, black coffee and a seductive creaminess coat the mouth and let more subtle hints of dark roasted nuts and malt finish out the tasting experience. This beer is very well balanced with the creaminess and dark flavors leading into a low bitter soft stout. Very easy drinking and enjoyable, making it with its flavors a terrific fall beer. Enjoy it with some smoked meats or dark chocolate desserts.
