Platinum Vodka, USA, 80 Proof, $10 750ml
This vodka is easy to find in many stores due to its cobalt blue triangle shaped bottle, and is very reasonably priced. It is distilled seven times and made from grain. If you are looking for a great priced vodka for holiday parties or mixing cocktails, than you cannot beat the price and quality of Platinum. A nice nose of slight peppery hints and spice. The flavors were a little warm, but still had layers of minerality, and a subtle creaminess. When we used it in Bloody Mary it gave the drink some backbone and spunk. Overall a great everyday vodka for an exceptional price.
