Sierra Nevada Anniversary Ale, 5.9% Alcohol, California $8 6 pack
This is a monster of a beer, with loads of flavors in each sip. Aromas of pine and allspice start really get the taste buds salivating for the first drop. The flavors just keep coming and coming, sweet citrus zest, creamy malt notes, and a mild bitterness keep everything in check. The bitterness gives was to a very woodsy maltiness on the finish. Overall a perfect beer for sipping as the weather starts to cool down. This brew is made each year to celebrate another year of brewing terrific beer and success. Terrific with ribs or smoked fish which will bring out all of the flavors.
