Sam Adams Summer Ale, Boston $8 6 Pack
Last week I had the pleasure to have dinner with Bob Cannon Head Brewer for Sam Adams, and this is one of the great beers we enjoyed. Their summer brew is a different recipe every year but always maintains a very light and easy drinking character. This beer has notes of lemon zest and a slight sweet peppery flavor that comes from Grains of Paradise which is grown on the West coast of Africa. The fresh flavors are balanced perfectly with a slight bitterness. This is a terrific beer for almost any chicken or fish meal cooked on the grill.
