Chambord Liqueur, France $35 750ml 16.5% Alcohol

This is a terrific cordial and mixer that is overlooked on many occasions, many of us have a bottle in the bar and fell in love with this, but may have forgotten how much we loved it. The best way to sum up this great cordial is like having fresh blueberry cobbler, all over your face and it is so good you are licking your fingers, with that thought when you have your first sip this is what will pop in mind. This is a true delight for any occasion, inspired by raspberry liquor produced in the Loire Valley of France during the 17th Century, it is said to have been introduced to King Louis XIV at the Chateau de Chambord, hence the crown on each bottle. A terrific blend of raspberries and blackberries fill the mouth with each sip, and layers of vanilla, honied orange zest, with just the right amount of sweetness. It dances across the tongue with each sip, and is perfect in Margaritas, fruit Martini's, and in Champagne.
